New Delhi, (UNI) The speculation over the retirement of former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni may be hot but he is still number two in the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is at the forefront of the matter.
Although Dhoni, 38, is in the final stages of his career, his popularity has not diminished. Dhoni has been away from the cricket field since this year’s ICC World Cup but he has surpassed Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar in the list of most liked men in the country.
According to ‘Yugo’ poll, Dhoni is the second most liked personality in the country after Prime Minister Modi. Nearly 42,000 people from 41 countries cast their votes in this poll, and two of the most liked men and women in the world express their own choices.
According to the survey, in 2019, Prime Minister Modi is number one in the most liked and admired personalities in India with a percentage of 15.66% while in the Lady class is the experienced fighter MC Mary Kom. Dhoni’s percentage is 8.58 after Prime Minister. Then there are Ratan Tata (8.02%), Barack Obama (7.36%) and Bill Gates (6.96%). Indian captain Virat is seventh on the list with 4.46 percent. Sachin Tendulkar is at the sixth spot ahead of Virat at 5.81%.
